General Rules

  • Strict regularity, implicit obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of dress and person are expected form every pupil. Pupils must strictly confirm to the regulations laid down in this regard
  • The pupils are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conducts in the school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of pupils makes conduct out of the school on the part of pupils makes him/her liable for disciplinary action.
  • The wearing of the school uniform is obligatory. The violation of this rule is a sufficient reason for the expulsion of as student form the school. No students will be allowed in the school premises without the prescribed uniform.
  • Care must be taken of all school properties, and no student shall scratch / scribble desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident, shall be reported at once to the school authorities. Any wilful damage done will be made good by the student responsible for it.
  • Parents and guardians are particularly requested to co-operate with the school authorities by sending their children back to the school on the re-opening day unless a written permission for extension of the leave has previously been obtained. Such permission, however, will be granted for very grave reasons.
  • The school reserves the right to dismiss a student who is irregular in attendance, whose progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory, whose conduct in the school or outside is harmful to other students, or whose guardian show little or no interest in the progress of their ward. Grave insubordination, discourtesy or disrespect to teachers, contempt of authority, wilful damage to the property or physical violence will result in dismissal form the school.
  • No books other than school texts, can be brought to the school without the principle’s permission.
  • Gifts to the members of the staff in cash or kind is not allowed except with the permission of the Principal.
  • The date of birth of a student once entered shall not be changed.
  • In order to acquire a good command over the English language which is the medium of instruction for all subjects, children should speak only in English in the school premises.
  • No monetary collection for any purpose may be made in the school without the prior permission of the principal.
  • All pupils must possess a copy of the school diary which is to be brought on all working days.
  • Late-Comers and absentees form the school will not be admitted to class without the principle’s permission.
  • Every student is expected to be in time daily for the assembly with the school almanac at the commencement of the first meeting.
  • Students are liable to be sent home for being late to the school.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school premises without permission of the principal/vice principal.
  • No leave of absence is granted, except on written application from parents. Mere sending of an application is not sufficient. The sanction of leave must be obtained.
  • The Pupil’s Parents are not allowed to meet the teachers during the school hours.
  • Fines may be imposed by the principal for irregularity indiscipline or damage to the school property.
  • The school authorities may exercise their right not to readmit students who fail to return within 7 days after the vacations.
  • In case of illness, a medical certificate must be produced within three days of absence of the student. The school accepts the medical certificates of doctors in the government service, not below the rank of chief physician or surgeon. In case of any doubt, the school may insist on the child being examined by the civil surgeon or the school doctor.
  • No examination or unit test will be held for the absentees before or after the scheduled time.
  • A Students who uses unfair means during tests, examinations etc. Will be given zero mark in the subject.
  • A student who fails twice in the same class or who is overage by 2 years or more will not be permitted to continue in the school.
  • Any students asked to leave the school on disciplinary ground shall have the same mentioned in his/her T.C.
  • pupils are required to appear for all the examinations as scheduled. Students absent for an examination for any reason may not be re-examined. In case of absence due to illness, a doctor’s certificate is required. Absence for any other reason will not be acceptable.
  • If a student misses the final examinations due to illness, promotion will be at the discretion of the principal on the basis of performance during the year.
  • Parent s are requested to pay attention to their children’s regularity, discipline and neatness and take interest in their work.
  • Parents should see the children’s diary every day and note the home work and any other instructions. They should ensure that sufficient time is set apart for home study.
  • Parents are not permitted to walk into the classrooms or meet the teacher during school hours. In special cases, teachers may be interviewed with the prior permission of the principal.
  • Circulars, invitations etc. Sent through the children should be acknowledged on the relevant form in the almanac.
  • Parents should use the “leave Record” form in the diary when applying for leave or explaining the absence of their children.
  • Students will be sent back home in the absence of a written explanation form their parents for being late and without proper uniform. The school accepts no responsibility if a child is asked to return home during school hours for being late or for non-compliance of any of rules contained in the school diary.
  • Parents-teachers meetings held periodically should be attended regularly. Those meetings are held to discuss the performance and progress of the children and will give parents an opportunity to learn about their word’s development and also the teachers to give their best towards the overall improvement of the child.
  • Attendance at the following school functions id compulsory:

Sport’s day & cultural day
  • The school authorities do not hold themselves responsible for the loss of money, books, articles, cloth, etc. Of students belongings.
  • Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the principal’s office.
  • Students should not be taken away form the class by anybody without an application from the parent or guardian.
  • (a) the principal may punish a student in a manner suited to the offence, e.g.: by corporal punishment or by expulsion form the institution.
  • (b) The Principal reserves to right to wave aside any of the rules contained in the almanac, without assigning any reason.
  • (c) The interpretation of any rule in the diary rests solely and entirely with the governing body of the school. Their interpretation and decision is final.
  • (d) For disobedience to the clear discussed orders of the principal, punishment laid down is dismissal without any moral turpitude, writing on the walls and roads and defiance to the authorities.
  • (1). It is the duty of all students to keep their class rooms and other places around the school clean and orderly. They should cultivate a habit of using the dustbin.
  • (2.) No student is allowed to write on the black board unless asked to do so by the teacher.
  • (3.) Students are not allowed to enter classrooms other than their own.
  • (4.) Students are to maintain silence in the school campus especially, in the classes rooms, library, labs and verandahs. They should not run about when they go in or come out of the class to assembly, labs, ground etc. Running and shouting inside the school building is forbidden and unbecoming.
  • (5.)when they go for the assembly they should go silently, in line one after the other.
  • (6.) During the recess, pupils are expected to leave the classrooms and go to the play ground.
  • (7.) No student will leave his or her class in between the teaching periods.
  • (8.) Students are not allowed to bring Mobil phones, walk man, tapes, CD etc. To school. These will automatically be confiscated and will not be returned.
  • (9.) pupils are forbidden to bring crackers, explosives, harmful instruments and other dangerous materials to school.
  • (10.) Students who have been suspended will not be permitted to be apart of school excursions, competitions and other such school excursions, competitions and other such school activities.
  • (11.) the students who wish to get their photographs attested by the school must be photographed in their school uniform and to get the certificate copies attested one has to produce the original certificate of the same.
